A new dialysis center for QC District 1
Rep. Juan Carlo "Arjo" Atayde, alongside Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, inaugurated the Aksyon Agad Dialysis Center on October 8, 2024. The center, located at the QC District 1 Mini City Hall in Barangay Bahay Toro, runs 20 state-of-the-art dialysis machines and can serve up to 60 patients per day.
Free dialysis for underprivileged residents
Operated by TresMedica Trading as the implementing partner, the center extends the No Balance Billing model to underprivileged residents of QC District 1. Medications, EPO, IV iron, dialyzers, and lab monitoring are included in every session rather than billed separately.
A program built to scale
Rep. Atayde has publicly committed to scaling the program with three additional centers across the district, widening access for patients who would otherwise travel far for treatment.
